Why we come together

Our Vision & Mission

ONIG bridges the gap between patient care clinical nursing and healthcare technologies. We connect nursing professionals across Ontario, support student development, and advocate for the nurse's voice in the design, implementation, and evaluation of virtual/digital health systems.

By integrating evidence-based care with advanced software tools, we empower nurses to spend more time with patients and less fighting interfaces, ultimately driving better health outcomes across our province.

Clinical Integration

Ensuring that professional software systems align natively with nurse workflow patterns and core safety protocols.

Scholarship & Research

Fostering early careers by awarding grants and sponsoring events for students in Ontario.

Advocacy

Representing nursing workflows inside government consultation committees and tech vendor boards.
